Welcome!

Vipassana for Hackers is intended to provide a secular, scientifically-minded audience with practical meditation literature. This literature is organized into papers, published as printable PDF and e-reader-friendly EPUB. The first of these papers discusses the internal mechanics of Vipassana meditation. The second paper takes a purely biological perspective and discusses the effect of Vipassana on the brain.

Future research for Vipassana for Hackers comes from its sister endeavour, The Ātāpī Atari Project. All material produced for Vipassana for Hackers is freely available under open licenses. The Ātāpī Atari Project is financed by sponsorships and its quarterly whitepapers are only available to sponsors.
